DESCRIPTION

NU-IRON is a highly water soluble complex of iron and a low molecular weight polysaccharide.

ACTION AND USES

NU-IRON is a non-ionic, easily assimilated, relatively non-toxic form of iron. Full therapeutic doses may be achieved with virtually no gastrointestinal side effects. There is no metallic aftertaste and no staining of teeth.

INDICATIONS

For treatment of uncomplicated iron deficiency anemia.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis or a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

DOSAGE

ADULTS: One or two NU-IRON 150 Capsules daily. CHILDREN; consult physician.
